  • 400 g Large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup White wine optional

Instructions
 

  • Preparation: Begin by thoroughly washing and patting dry the shrimp. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with salt, pepper, and half of the lemon juice. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Cooking the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute. Increase the heat to high, add the marinated shrimp, and cook for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Final Touches: Reduce the heat to medium. Stir in the butter, remaining lemon juice, and white wine (if using). Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to slightly thicken. Turn off the heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  • Serving: Serve the spicy chili garlic shrimp immediately, ideally over a bed of steamed rice or pasta, garnished with extra parsley and lemon wedges for a refreshing twist.
