  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp green onions finely chopped

  • 1. Prepare the Ginger Soy SauceIn a small mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes if using. Whisk together until well combined.Set the sauce aside to allow the flavors to meld while you prepare the tuna.
  • 2. Prepare the Tuna SteaksPat the tuna steaks dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper.In a shallow dish, mix the white and black sesame seeds. Press each side of the tuna steaks into the sesame seeds, ensuring an even coating.
