Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 lemon half juiced and half sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin-side down, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  • Flip the salmon over and add lemon juice over the fillets.
  • Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • In the last minute of cooking, add the lemon slices to the pan to warm and slightly caramelize.
  • Remove from heat and plate the salmon. Garnish with fresh parsley and top with the warmed lemon slices.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and enjoy a quick yet romantic meal.
