Equipment

  • Oven-proof skillet
  • Meat Thermometer
  • Small Saucepan
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 pork tenderloin around 500g
  • Salt To Taste
  • Pepper To Taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 sprig rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Preparation: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper generously.
  • Sear the Tenderloin: In an oven-proof skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork tenderloin. Sear each side for about 2-3 minutes, or until a golden crust forms.
  • Bake: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove the tenderloin from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Prepare the Glaze: While the pork is baking, combine apple cider, brown sugar, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer and reduce it by half, or until it thickens into a glaze. Whisk in the butter until smooth.
  • Serve: Slice the pork tenderloin and drizzle with the apple cider glaze. Pair with your favorite sides and enjoy!
