Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Fine-mesh Sieve
  • Ice Cream Maker
  • Two Beautiful Glass Flutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups Pure Pomegranate Juice
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 2 cups Prosecco
  • Pomegranate seeds and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Begin by making a simple syrup. Combine the sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring it to a boil. Once the sugar dissolves completely, remove the pan from heat and let it cool.
  • Combine the cooled syrup with the pomegranate and lemon juices, stirring until well mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Once the mixture is churned and has a soft, icy texture, transfer it into a container and freeze for about 4 hours, or until firm.
  • To serve, scoop the pomegranate sorbet into glass flutes, and slowly top each flute with Prosecco. Garnish with a few pomegranate seeds and mint leaves for added color and freshness. Cheers to love and shared moments of joy!
