  • 3-4 tbsp milk

Instructions

In another bowl, combine buttermilk, egg, melted butter, red food coloring, and vanilla extract. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  • Cook the Pancakes: Heat a lightly greased skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter.
