Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Chicken Breasts Boneless, Skinless
  • 1 cup Plain yoghurt
  • 2 teaspoons Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Minced
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Large Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • Fresh Cilantro For Garnish
  • Cooked Basmati Rice For Serving

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, chili powder, coriander, minced garlic, and ginger. Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat. Marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, discarding the excess marinade. Cook until the chicken is browned on all sides.
  • Pour in the tomato puree and stir well, making sure all the chicken pieces are coated. Cover and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.
  • Serve the Butter Chicken over cooked basmati rice, garnished with fresh cilantro. Enjoy this rich and flavorful dish with your loved one!
