Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices Artisan sourdough bread
  • 4 ounces gourmet mixed cheese blend like Gruyère, Fontina, and Brie
  • 1 tbsp white truffle oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • Fresh herbs or microgreens for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  • Lightly brush one side of each slice of bread with truffle oil.
  • On the non-oiled side of two slices, evenly distribute the gourmet cheese blend.
  • Place the other two slices of bread, oiled side up, on top of the cheese.
  • Spread a thin layer of softened butter on the outer surfaces of each sandwich.
  • Once the skillet is hot, carefully place the sandwiches on it.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Once cooked, remove from the skillet and let it sit for a minute.
  • Slice the sandwiches in half, garnish with fresh herbs or microgreens if desired, and serve immediately.
