Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1.5 cup cremini mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3/4 cup Marsala wine
  • 1/2 chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board, cover with plastic wrap, and pound to about 1/2 inch thick using a meat mallet.Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.Dredge each piece in flour, shaking off excess.
  • Sear the Chicken:
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Sauté the Mushrooms:
    In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt.Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5-6 minutes until browned.Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Make the Sauce:
    Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.Let the sauce simmer and reduce by half, about 8-10 minutes.Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Finish and Serve:
    Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them in the sauce.Allow the chicken to warm up in the sauce for about 2-3 minutes.Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
