- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup milk
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter for frying
- 4 tbsp Nutella spread
- 1 large ripe banana sliced
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Preparing the Crepe Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, egg, milk, salt, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Let the batter rest for a few minutes.
Cooking the Crepes: Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add a little butter and let it melt. Pour in a ladleful of the batter and swirl it around to spread it thinly. Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until lightly golden. Transfer to a plate and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter.
Adding the Fillings: Spread 2 tablespoons of Nutella over each crepe. Place slices of banana over half of the crepe.
Serving: Fold the crepe in half, and then fold again to create a triangle. Dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve immediately.
