Preparing for Your Culinary Adventure

Before you start, ensure you have all the necessary ingredients. You’ll need linguine, large shrimp, olive oil, garlic, chicken broth, dry white wine, lemon juice, fresh parsley, and unsalted butter.

The secret to this dish’s success lies in its simplicity. With just a few high-quality ingredients, you can create a meal that’s truly greater than the sum of its parts.

The Steps: Cooking Together Made Easy

Start by cooking the linguine according to the package instructions. While the pasta is cooking, season your shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet, add the shrimp, and cook until pink. Remove the shrimp and set it aside, but keep that flavorful oil in the pan – it’s going to form the base of your scampi sauce!

Next, add minced garlic to the pan and let it cook until fragrant. Then, pour in the chicken broth, white wine, and lemon juice. Let this mixture simmer until it reduces slightly, creating a rich and flavorful sauce.

Finally, whisk in the butter, return the shrimp to the pan, and add the cooked linguine and chopped parsley. Toss everything together until it’s well coated in the scampi sauce. And just like that, your meal is ready!
